SOME GREAT AWARDS
It’s easier than ever before to be successful in 1.4, with a wide range of new awards designed to recognise the achievements of both yourself and your players.
Aside from bragging rights, the new manager awards also carry Reward Points, meaning the incentive to capture recognition is as strong as ever - click HERE for more on what RPs can buy you, then read on for a look at some of the main new awards on their way into your GameWorlds.
TEAMS OF THE SEASON
Show the world how good you are in 1.4 by managing your players to a place in the prestigious Youth/Senior Teams of the Season. These team lineups are recorded for posterity, as the screenshot below shows.
How many players will you manage to get into the same Team of the Season at once? The current Beta record for seniors is 3, held by Liverpool United’s FA Cup winning side of Season 12. Pop onto the forums and let us know if you beat their record in 1.4!
PLAYER AWARDS
There’s a full range of player awards now available at both GameWorld wide and FA level, and indeed both for youths and seniors. Grab a look at the picture for the full list!
Senior Golden Boot is undoubtedly a highlight, but the biggest awards of all are the Manager’s Senior/Youth Player of the Season. Nominated by your peers, a player’s brilliance catching the attention of others is the ultimate tribute. However, you may find your youths winning these double-edged sword, as you could soon be batting off the advances of other clubs!
Once the player awards are given, you’ll get a nice news item summarising all awards and their outcomes – so the new system, whilst expanded, is easier than ever to keep up with.
FA AWARDS
As mentioned above, from 1.4 each Football Association gives its managers and players specific recognition.
The most special awards are surely the Manager’s Manager and Community Manager of the Season (pic, above), as there can be no bigger compliment than being voted for by the people who win, lose and draw against you every week.
RANKING AWARDS
Ranking awards are now available for each of the individual ranking bands, giving more managers an opportunity to claim the weekly prizes. Take a look at the range of Rep Levels amongst the most recent Beta winners in the pic below.
With the ranking bands being split by team levels, it’s now all about being the best team of your grouping rather than the GameWorld as a whole - so failure is no longer an excuse!
EXPANDED DIALOGUE
There's now full commentary on each nominee for many of the awards voted for by managers. Take a look at the picture below - would the words be enough to get Guido your vote?
The answer to the question above is 'yes'. Guido went on to win this award with an amazing 233 points! Will you be able to win by more in 1.4?
