VERSION 1.6 - RELEASE DATE: 23/06/2010- '3D!'

Life in Live takes on a whole new perspective with the release of 1.6, which offers FML managers a first chance to watch their teams perform in the glory of 3D. You'll soon feel closer than ever to being a Mourinho or a Ferguson, taking on real-life managers whilst indulging in a match view that will make you believe you're right there on the touchline.

Let's take a look at closer look at this exciting development:

HOW DO I GET 3D?!

It couldn't be simpler - once you've dowloaded 1.6, 3D will appear as an optional extra accessed via the intro screen's 'Add Ons' page (pic below).

Simply select the download, and the next time you sign in and play a game, you'll be watching in 3D.

ANYONE FOR FULL SCREEN?

By clicking the rectangular icon to the left of the chat box (first pic, below), you'll be able to watch games in full screen (second pic) - meaning you'll quite literally see the bigger picture as far as your team's performances are concerned!

Whilst you're in full screen mode, buttons next to the timeline allow you to expose or minimise the chat box, use quick tactics, or pass to the full tactics screen to make bigger changes.

WAIT - THERE'S MORE!

Not only can you enjoy the megasized big screen option in 1.6, you can also choose where in the stadium to watch from! Here's some of the top options:

• Touchline: A brilliant close-up option for all managers who like to stay primed on the pitchside.
• Main Stand: Go sit with the execs to see the bigger picture!

• Vertical Scroller: Stare down the length of the pitch to get a great idea of how well your team's formation is stretching your opponents.

WHAT ABOUT 2D?

For the traditionalists amongst you, 2D is very much still available, again via the camera icon.

MATCH SPEED

Re-worked match speeds now offer real time, 1.5 x real time, 2.0 x real time and 2.5 x real time. This provides the chance for purists to savour 3D in all its real-time glory, but also enables an even faster top-end speed than currently exists for those that way inclined.

Like all FML's best features, therefore, 3D offers something for everyone. We hope your team are as good in 3 dimensions as they are in 2!!
